In this course students can expect to receive an introduction to the engraving lathe with a secondary focus on how wheel cutting can relate to flameworking processes. This will be a primarily technical class. Students can expect to improve their engraving hand-skills with proficiency-building exercises. Objects made on the torch will be engraved, then manipulated again in the flame.
