This workshop will empower participants to use their personal histories to inform their work while learning and practicing new techniques in glass. Through a combination of demos and discussions, students will learn solid and hollow sculpting while developing a deeper appreciation for one another’s cultural heritage. Traditional and modern sculpting methods, using torches, garages, and lots of teamwork, will be practiced in the creation of personal and meaningful artwork.
Workshop taught in both Spanish and English.
